Appliques/Onlays are a great addition to any project Mantels, Doors, Walls, Furniture. Window frames they can be painted or stained. With a clear finish they will look like oak but are a smooth surface so that they can be painted or gold gilded.

I've updated my review to 5 stars, but please note that there was an original 4 stars ONLY because as soon as I removed the product from the shipping package (and the shipping was stellar, btw) it literally broke in two pieces in my hand. I hadn't done anything except for breath on it lol. Very, very, very fragile - - the seller should make sure buyers know to handle with extreme care. Otherwise, it's beautiful and I really love it for the craft it is intended for.

They are the perfect size as an appliqué above my windows and doors. They are wonderful quality with lots of details despite the tiny size. Shipping was much quicker than experienced. Awesome product. Will definitely order from them again.
