This beautiful piece of furniture would look lovely in a library. There is a lightly carved pole on one side with 3 triangular steps so that one could easily reach a book in the library. The steps are 1 ½” wide.
From the floor to the top step is 2 1/8”. The pole is 4 5/16” tall.
