This beautiful library step ladder is made of walnut. It is brass hinged with a brass chain linking the two parts of the ladder. The wheels actually turn! The handrail on the side is lightly carved with a round finial top and bottom. There are 6 steps on this unit, the bottom step is 1 ¼” wide graduating to the top step which is 1” wide.
It is 6” tall and 1 ¾” wide including the wheels.
