A quality miniature for a dollhouse - 1:12 Scale. Thonet bentwood shoe fitting stool, Circa 1925, with typical tubular form splayed legs supporting a teardrop shaped incised plywood seat, and sloped footrest.
NB: In the late 19th Century and early 20th Century, Michael Thonet manufactured furniture for both retail and private premises, most notably the Vienna Savings bank, in 1905. It is very likely that the stool was specifically designed for a retail premises in the early part of the 20th Century.
