Snowman Class

Lesson by Carol Jones

SUPPLIES

Glue, Tweezers, Micro-point Pen, Scissors, Toothpick, White Pom-poms, Black Seed Bead, Black Sequin,

Red Embroidery Cotton (or your choice of color)

Step #1

Glue 2 white pom-poms together.

Glue a black seed bead to the top of a sequin.

Step #2

Glue Hat to the top of the snowman's head.

Cut a length of embroidery thread much longer than you need.  This is to make it easier for you to tie a red bow  or a scarf around the snowman's neck.  The excess can be cut.  If you find it too difficult to tie, then simply cross it over and glue it in place.

Step #3

Using a micro pen, or a toothpick and black paint, make dots for eyes, nose, mouth, and a row down the front depicting lumps of coal.

Cut the red thread as long as you'd like the snowman's scarf to be.

Snowman Finish

This is a very simple snowman, but if several of them are made, they look very effective as a tree ornament.

His hat could further be decorated by putting a thread around it for a hat band, or bits of felt glued in place to give the illusion of a poinsettia.
