Pie

Class by Alex ZOHAR

Supply

Fimo #00, #17, #15
Red No-hole beads
Blue No-hole beads,
Pie plate or ¾” diameter plate
Delta Jewel Paint - Amethyst
Pie Plate or plates
Crumpled ball of tin foil
Xacto blade

step 1
Mix 00 White with #17 Ochre Fimo, until you get a nice dough colour.
Make into an approximate ½” ball, and press this into your pie plate or plate, using a crumpled ball of tin foil.  This will give texture to your pie.

step 2
With an Xacto blade cut out a small wedge from the pie.

Mix chalks

step 3b

Using a soft brush apply the chalk to the pies so they have a baked look.
Bake at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.

step 4
Depending on what type of pie you want to make, put no-hole beads into the pie and flood (a drop at a time) the area with jewel paint.  In the example, red no-hole beads were used and the area was flooded with garnet red jewel paint for a cherry pie.

step 5
With a soft brush, apply Fimo Varnish to the crust area of the pie, if you desire.

step 6
Ta-Da! Can’t you smell the aroma of freshly baked Pie??  MMMM-Yummy!
