PHIL'S DOLLHOUSE PROJECT

My daughter suggested that her new-born twins would probably really appreciate receiving a dollhouse when a little bigger.  My wife and I decided that we had better make one for each of them.  When their older sister got wind of that she also requested one.  But, how about our other three granddaughters?  Hence three more.  Grandson indicated that he felt left out, and we therefore purchased a log cabin kit for him.
All seven were built from kits, but many improvements were made, e.g. repainting exteriors, adding trim and chimneys, decorating insides, and putting shakes (individually cut from real shakes) on the log cabin.
A lot of work, but a real labour of love!
