Crescent Bread Rolls

Class by Alex ZOHAR

supply

Chalk Pastels
Tile
Cutter, or a pipe, diameter ¾”
Soft Brush
Fimo Varnish
Blade
Fimo #00, #15, #17

Step 1
Mix fimo 00 Transparent with a very minute amount of #15 Golden Yellow and #0 White.
With a pasta machine, or with a rolling pin or bottle, roll out approximately 1/16” and lay it out on a tile.

Step 2
With your cutter, cut out ¾” circles from the mixed yellow.

Step 3
Using the blade, cut the circles into quarters.  Starting at the wide end, roll each of these quarters with the point being on the top.

Step 4
Form a crescent or moon shape from each of the rolls and put it on a baking tile.

Step 5
From the two shades of brown and yellow, scrape a small amount of pastel chalk on to paper.  Mix these three colors together.

Step 6
Using a soft brush, apply the chalk to the top of each crescent.
Bake at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.

Step 7
When cooled, apply Fimo varnish to the tops.

Step 8
Arrange on a plate and it’s ready to serve.  Yummy- yum!
